Vishal Sowmyan has been learning violin since the age of 4 and is under the tutelage of legendary violinist Padmashri Sangeetha Kalanidhi Guru A. Kanyakumari. Vishal has won several awards and regularly performs concerts and tours around the country at centers including the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Cleveland Aradhana festival. He is the recipient of the junior musician of the year award for winning the advanced category instituted by the Carnatic Music Association of North America (CMANA). Vishal has played in prestigious sabhas in India during the December Music Festival.

A devoted disciple of the renowned Akkarai Sisters, Vidushi Akkarai Subhalakshmi and Vidushi Akkarai Sornalatha, Shishir has also received the blessings and guidance of the legendary Padma Shri Dr. Kadri Gopalnath. His music reflects classical depth, refined manodharma, and a profound connection with the saxophone. An All India Radio Graded Artist from Chennai and a recipient of numerous awards and accolades, Shishir has performed on prestigious platforms including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, LearnQuest Academy of Music (Boston), Berklee College of Music, and leading sabhas in Chennai. Widely regarded as one of the most sought-after Carnatic saxophonists on the global stage, he has also delivered lectures at distinguished institutions.

Vaibhav is a dedicated and multi talented sophomore in high school whose passion for music and the performing arts has been evident from a very young age. Vaibhav began learning the Mridangam at the remarkable age of five. Over the years, he has trained rigorously, developing strong technical skill, rhythmic precision, and a deep appreciation for Carnatic percussion traditions. One of the highlights of his musical journey was completing his Arangetram in Sep 2024, where he had the honor of accompanying the renowned Violinist Padmashree Kanyakumari. Since then he has performed in many concerts around NJ and NY area. In addition to Mridangam and Ganjira, Vaibhav has expanded his musical repertoire by learning and performing on several other percussion instruments, such as Drums and Marimba His versatility across both Indian classical and Western percussion showcases his adaptability and broad musical curiosity. He’s also an avid Basketball player who represented his high school team and other travel teams around Monroe, NJ

Vinuta Ramakrishnan has been learning Carnatic Violin for the past 12 years, originally under Smt. Radhika Devrajan and now learning from Mysore Brothers in India. She is internationally certified in Carnatic Violin theory and practical music, as she has gotten the Senior 4-year certification from SAMPADA institution. She is also part of her school's Chamber Orchestra, serving as concertmaster and section leader for the 1st Violins. She enjoys teaching students all across the tri-state area in both Carnatic and Western violin, and continues to accompany and solo in various concerts and arangetrams. She also enjoys collaborating with local Hindustani artists for jugalbandi pieces.

Ganesh is a learned Hindustani classical musician.That was the time when TV programs like TVS SAREGAMA & MERI AWAZ SUNO were getting viewers attention and he got an opportunity to present his skills where he ended up becoming runner up. He finds himself lucky enough to know, learn and perform with few eminent Indian music personalities like The Mangeshkar family, Shri. Jagjit Singh who not only provided guidance but also put him on the right track by highlighting the importance of blending music and education. Being music composer for All India Radio & Doordarshan, he has composed a few albums and jingles as well. His passion about ghazals reached its high since he met Shri Jagjit Singh on the sets of TVS SAREGAMAPA. For him, ghazal is his most favorite form of music especially when this form of semi classical music touches areas like poetry, voice culture, presentation and mainly emotions. He finds himself extremely lucky to have an opportunity to be a shagird of a legendary ghazal maestro Mr. Talat Aziz and perform in his USA concert recently. You will find him performing across the states and on digital platforms like gaana, spotify, facebook, and instagram.

Rajagopal Sundareswaran is an accomplished Mridangam artist with over a decade of experience in Carnatic percussion. He has accompanied several All India Radio A-grade artists and performed at prestigious platforms including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. In 2022, he completed his Mridangam Arangetram with renowned violinist A. Kanyakumari. A versatile percussionist skilled in Kanjira, Thavil, and Ghatam, he is known for his dynamic Thalavadhyam performances. He is also the founder of RaagaRhythms, a music ensemble performing classical and raga-based music across the tri-state area. 🎶

Mahati Chitti is a Carnatic flautist from New Jersey and a junior at Rutgers Business School, double majoring in Finance and Economics. She has been learning Carnatic flute for nine years under Dr. Manda Anantha Krishna and holds a distinction certificate from Sampada, Silicon Andhra University. Mahati regularly performs across the tri-state area and is passionate about making classical music more accessible to younger audiences.

Sabarish – A Budding Percussion Prodigy Sabarish is a gifted young percussionist whose journey into the world of rhythm began as early as age two. Born into a distinguished lineage of musicians, he proudly traces his roots back to his great-great-grandfather, the eminent mridangam vidwan Calicut Subramanian Iyer. Inspired and nurtured by this rich musical heritage, Sabarish began learning the Mridangam under the loving guidance of his first guru—his father, Rajagopal—at the age of four, and T.S. Nandhakumar. Currently, he is training under the tutelage of renowned mridangam maestro Vidwan Patri Sathish Kumar, further refining his technique and artistic depth. Sabarish’s passion for rhythm extends beyond traditional percussion; he is also a rhythm pad artist for Arangetrams and musical ensembles, showcasing remarkable versatility and commitment. Expanding his musical horizons, Sabarish is also learning the Guitar from Vidwan Guitar Shylu Ravindran, demonstrating his eagerness to explore and master multiple instruments. His talents have earned him accolades at prestigious platforms, including the iconic Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, where he won prizes in Konnakol, Mridangam, and Guitar competitions. He was also a part of the Shishyakulam Epic Choir, and his musical journey was recently featured in The Hindu article through a special interview. In addition to national achievements, Sabarish actively participates in several local concerts, further establishing himself as a passionate and dedicated young musician to watch.

Ananth Sankaralingam is a disciple of Guru Vidwan Sri TS Nandakumar and plays the mridangam, ghatam and Kanjira. Ananth had the honor of completing his mridangam arangetram in May 2022 with Vidwan Rajeev Mukundan, disciple of renowned violinist Padmashri Vidushi A. Kanyakumari. Ananth recently graduated from the University of Maryland.

Shankar Raman had initial training in Mridangam in Chennai from Thanjavur Ramadoss, a disciple of Palghat Mani. Shankar later learnt under Anantha Krishnan, Palghat Raghu’s grandson. Shankar has performed in concerts and bharathnatyam events in Miami, Chicago, and North-east.

Shardul Krishna Kumar is a sophomore at Georgetown University studying Government and Economcis. He has learned under his grandmother, Smt Suguna Varadachari for the past 10 years, and Sri CR Vaidyanathan for the last year. Previously he trained under Shri Ashvin Bhogendra for 12 years. For the last 10 years, he has performed concerts across the tri-state area and India.

Purva Dhanashree & Paavani Cotah are Carnatic violinists & vocalists, who are fast becoming the junior rung of loved artistes with more than 200 concerts; they are recipients of the prestigious M S Subbulakshmi fellowship and are travelling to the US to perform for the second time. Paavani has won several prizes and titles in Namasankeertanam from prestigious events like Bhakthaswara, was a Carnatic music idol finalist and garnered fame from Kuldeep M Pai videos. Both Purva and Paavani have over 2 million views on Youtube via these videos. Their guru Vidushi Kalyani Shankar for the last 10 years, along with added mentorship from Shri. Rajaram Sunderrajan and Vid Bharat Sundar guide them immensely.

Radhika Devrajan established Swaradhika to provide authentic, high-quality musical education. With over two decades of experience, she has personally trained more than 500 students, building the largest Carnatic violin school in New Jersey. Radhika Devrajan's musical journey began under Sri. S V Ramachandran in Mumbai. She further honed her artistry with renowned masters like Padmashri A. Kanyakumari and Sri. Vittal Ramamoorthy. Additionally, training with Prof R. Subalaxmi and Smt. Kalyani Ramani has enabled her to cultivate a distinctive and compelling style. She is currently mentored by Smt. Sangeetha Swaminathan. Radhika Devrajan regularly performs as both a soloist and accompanist at prominent Carnatic music concerts and dance arangetrams in India and the US.

Sapna Krishnakumar is a first year PhD student at Princeton University in Molecular Biology. Outside of research and academics, Sapna is an all-rounder and is professionally trained in Bharathanatyam, Carnatic vocal and Nattuvangam for 20 years under the able guidance of Kalaimamani Roja Kannan and Sangita Kala Acharya Geetha Raja. She has won multiple awards and given performances at various prestigious venues including Madras Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, RR Sabha, Kalakshetra Foundation, Karthik Fine Arts, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Parthasarathy Swami Sabha. Sapna is also a recipient of the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship from the Center for Cultural Resources and Training, Government of India for Bharatanatyam (2013-2021) and the Association of Bharathanatyam Artists of India Scholarship in 2018. Sapna’s rigorous training in dance and music, gives her the unique ability to simultaneously sing and do the Nattuvangam. Sapna is also passionate about taking the arts to broader audiences and spearheaded the SPIC MACAY Heritage Club at IISER Mohali (2022-2025) and was an Arts Management Intern for Aalaap (2020-2021)

Siddharth S. Ragavan is a New York-based Mridangist and composer. A senior disciple of guru Shri Akshay Anantapadmanabhan, he has played for hundreds of concerts, festivals, and fundraisers across the United States, and also performs in Chennai during the Margazhi season. Siddharth is a Western classical composer and film scorer studying at the Manhattan School of Music, where he uses his platform to bring more exposure to the Carnatic tradition and create music which blends the two genres.

Sameth Sitaram is a disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Padmashri Guru Kanyakumari Avasarala Amma for violin and is also under the tutelage of Sri. Vignesh Ishwar for vocal music. With the blessings of his Gurus, he has accompanied several graded artists and esteemed musicians at various venues and festivals around the US, India, and Canada. He has also performed several solo vocal and violin concerts.

Saketh Sitaram is a vocalist and keyboardist trained in the Carnatic discipline who performs improvisational world and Indian film music. He regularly performs both independently and in bands across the tri-state area. In addition to performance, he is a composer and filmmaker who aspires to further his creative journey through his performances and artistic projects.

Nakul Narayanan is a Carnatic Violinist who has been learning for 7 years from Smt. Rajarajeshwari Srinivasan, who is based out of Chennai. He has learned Western Violin for 9 years, has been trained by Ragavan Manian in Light Music and Carnatic Fusion, and is interested in music composition. Nakul is currently studying Genetics and Data Science at Rutgers.

Srivathsa Raj is a disciple of Guru Shri T.S Nandakumar for the past 10 years. He has played in the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and in the SVBC Tirupati channel, and has also accompanied in Sita/Rama Kalyanams, Nama Sankeertanams, and music schools across NJ. He is a rising sophomore in Purdue University studying Data Science and minoring in Finance.

Saketh is learning Mridangam from past 8 years , acquired his initial lessons from Vid. Prakash Rao,NJ & pursuing further training from Vid. SadguruCharan, AIR , Vijayawada. Saketh accomplished in all major competitions like Cleveland Aaradhana , CMANA , SIFA , Sivan Fine arts in USA & other global competitions from past 4 years. Saketh accompanied concerts at Cleveland Aaradhana, CMANA,NJ; Trimurthy GanaSabha, NC , SRGMPDN, MD & other platforms. He concluded his debut Chennai music season during December 2025.

Saketh has been learning Mridangam for the past 8 years. He got his initial lessons from Vid. Prakash Rao of NJ, and is now taking advanced lessons from Vid. Sadguru Charan of Vijayawada (an AIR Top Grade artist) for the past 3 years. Saketh accomplished many prizes from competitions, including Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, CMANA, Sivan Fine Arts, SIFA, and other global platforms. He primarily provides Mridangam accompaniment for concerts and also plays the Ghatam and Kanjira, as needed.
